A Sweet Little Note

I woke up one morning with this note from Logan lying on the bed next to me. He is such a sweet, thoughtful boy!!!!

In case you can't read it, it says "Mommy daddy these are for you gise (guys) the Milky Ways are for mom and the Laffy Taffys are for daddy."

I love that boy!!!

Crazy Hair Day

Every year at the kids' school during Red Ribbon Week, they do a different fun day for the kids. One day was crazy sock day, another was hat day....this was crazy hair day. We decided to color their hair blue, their school color, to celebrate crazy hair day. They loved it!!

Octoberfest 2010

This year for Octoberfest we met mom and dad and Lisa, Reagan and Montana downtown in Twin Falls. There was supposed to be lots of fun activities on Main Street.....so we thought. Turned out it was totally lame! I mean, really lame! It's a good thing that we can have fun together as a family regardless of how lame Octoberfest was :0)

The kids got to decorate cookies at the Cookie Basket.....

We found a werewolf costume for Logan to wear for Halloween at one of the second hand stores downtown.

The beautiful thing was, Mady was horrified of it! And since we aren't nice, the kids put it on once or twice and we all laughed hard at her reaction. I said we weren't nice......

And then we all went to one of our favorite restaurants on Main Street and had ice cream and french fries!

The planned activities for Octoberfest may have been super lame (apart from the freakshow) but we had a great time together as a family.
